BioHatched in 1968 from a robin's egg that was incubated by a jackal, I sprang forth from said egg kicking and screaming (mostly screaming), and cursing my bad fortune at having been born a mutant. Later, I decided to capitalize on my misfortune by auditioning for several side shows across the country. To my astonishment, I was hired instantly, and it was during one of my performances as "The Amazing Cyanotic Hatchling" that I was discovered by a local talent scout, eager to sign me on to his agency, MagicMutants, Inc. I was then cast in several low-budget horror flicks, my most famous role being that of a mutant librarian in "Mutant Librarians from Outer Space". (I really HATED being type-casted, though!!) It was during this groundbreaking performance that I discovered my TRUE calling - working in a library! (How life so closely imitates art!!) I am happy to say that I have been working in both public and academic libraries ever since, and am currently working on my Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Kent State University. I am sometimes known to close friends and associates as "the rubber-clad librarian".
